Persuasive Speaking

Do you speak English in a convincing and inspiring way?

Studies show that when we speak, only 7% of what others hear comes directly from the words we say. The remaining 93% comes from the context of our message.  The context includes the quality of our voice, eye contact, and gestures, as well as our intonation patterns and speaking rhythm. Even if you are a persuasive speaker in your native language, do your words have the same powerful impact when you translate them into English? This workshop will allow you to discover key differences in speaking delivery stemming from language and cultural background. You’ll learn techniques for adapting your style in order to be a more compelling and persuasive speaker in a US context.
