to be meaningfully engaged with the University and each other. Created
by University President Michael J. Graham, S.J. to honor, extend and
advance the legacy of Xavier and Edgecliff alumnae, it is guided by a
committee of the President's Advisory Council, and is committed to
providing opportunities for women to grow as organizational and
philanthropic leaders and work to further the mission and vision of the
University. |

Goal: Expand WOX nationwide
The Women of Excellence has enjoyed some great successes since its
founding, prompting alumnae outside Cincinnati to express interest in
developing similar programs in other cities. Staff members Norah Mock,
Erin Swietlik and Dianne Fisk recently travelled to Washington, D.C. to
meet with Xavier alumnae to discuss how to bring WOX to that chapter.
This includes encouraging mentoring relationships with students,
providing events and programs of specific interest to women and growing
the Giving Circle in their chapters. If you're interested in Women of
Excellence having a presence in your city, please contact Norah Mock at
513-745-3573 or mockn@xavier.edu. |
