Mary Beth Clary, Esq., XU '80 is a partner at Porter, Wright, Morris & Arthur, LLP in Naples, Florida. She graduated summa cum laude from Xavier University with a B.S.B.A. in 1980 and cum laude from St. Louis University School of Law with a J.D. in 1983. Ms. Clary concentrates her practice in the areas of federal securities law, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and small business issues.

Rosellen Creighton, EC '71 is a wife, mother and civic volunteer. She currently serves as a member of the National Alumni Executive Board at Xavier and chairperson of the Archive Committee for Edgecliff College. She is chairperson of the awards committee of the National Alumni Board of Directors and a member of Xavier's Committee on Public Honors. Rosellen received the 2001 Sister Mary Virginia Sullivan Award from Xavier for her outstanding service in volunteerism.

Norma Holt Davis, Esq., is an attorney in private practice and the former president of the NAACP. When Ms. Davis was elected president at the end of 2000, she became only the second woman in 94 years to lead the civil rights group. She received her B. S. degree from Tuskegee University and received a J.D. from the University of Cincinnati. She is currently a member of the Cincinnati Bar Association Board of Trustees, the Board of Families Forward, and the 4C Advisory Committee.

Anne Barry Flottman, Esq., XU '89 is an attorney practicing exclusively in family law, including all domestic relations matters as well as custody-related matters in juvenile court. Anne is trained in the collaborative method of divorce. She also litigates issues of property, support, and custody in Hamilton, Warren, and Clermont Counties. She is frequently appointed by local judges to act as a guardian ad litem, and in that role advocates for the best interests of children whose parents are involved in custody disputes. Anne was a member of the Moot Court Board and Order of the Barristers at the University of Cincinnati. She volunteers as a judge for many of their moot court competitions and also serves with the Volunteer Lawyers Project. Anne has also served as a volunteer at various schools and local charitable organizations.

Jane Giaquinto, XU '87

Jane Giaquinto, XU '87 is the former vice president of the Lending Division at The Private Bank of The Bank of New York. She began her career with Western Southern Life in the '80s. Her career progressed as she moved from Western Southern Life to MBIA Insurance Corporation to vice president at Merrill Lynch. Jane has been a member of the Wall Street Utility Group and the Financial Women's Association.

Ann Finefrock Hoffman, XU '75 is the president and co-owner of Hoffman & Albers Interiors in Cincinnati, which she co-founded in 1993. Hoffman has been nominated as one of the top 10 women in interior design by Woman's Business Cincinnati 2006. She has been honored by Homerama in 1994, 1995 and 1996, and has been chosen to be the head designer for Cincinnati Magazine's 2008 Design Home. She has served as a member of the National Alumni Association since 1985 and has held the offices of vice president and president of the Cincinnati chapter. She has been on the executive board of the National Alumni Association since 2000 and is the president of the National Alumni Association.

Mary Margaret Kindel is a retired school administrator from the Kenton County, Kentucky school system. Retiring after 27 years as a high school math teacher, high school counselor and lastly, director of assessment all in the Kenton County District. She received her Doctorate in Educational Administration from the University of Kentucky in 1994. She volunteers for many civic, cultural and religious activities and is a member of the Edgecliff committee.

Karol King, XU '96, '98 is the former manager of the Federated Department Stores Foundation and prior to that she was an employee of Cinergy Corp, Inc., the last six years as manager of Cinergy Foundation. In that position she administered around 1500 grants per year. Since 2000, Karol has been an adjunct professor at Xavier University, teaching Theology in the Weekend Degree Program.

Margaret Gavin Lafley graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Education. She is a mother and grandmother who has been taking graduate courses in theology at Xavier, and is a board member of The Karama Connection, a non-profit which raises money for the support of HIV positive orphans in Africa.

Melissa Lueke, XU '85 serves as vice president, chief financial officer and secretary of Meridian Bioscience, Inc., a position she has held since January 2001. Melissa joined Meridian Bioscience, Inc. as US Controller in January of 1999. Prior to that Melissa was a member of the audit practice at Arthur Andersen. Melissa remains involved at Xavier University where she is a member of the Accounting Advisory Board and a Class Agent, assisting in annual fund raising.

Nan Matteson, XU '01, is employed with Fifth Third Securities. She specializes in personal finances, having previously held various brokerage operations positions. Prior to joining Fifth Third, Nan worked in logistics/inventory control for Senco Products, a manufacturer of power tools. A volunteer for the IRS VITA program--a tax assistance program for underrepresented taxpayers--Nan is committed to empowering women to better understand money.

Susan McCormick, XU '91 is the founder and president of Blarney Communications in Cincinnati, Ohio. Susan has volunteered in many capacities for Xavier University both past and present including Xavier's Dayton Alumni Chapter Executive Committee (1994-1996, 2001-2004), Xavier's Athletic Marketing Department (summer 2005), 1991 Class Agent (2004-present), Xavier Women of Excellence (2006-present).

Norah Mock holds a Bachelor's Degree in English and a Master's of Business Administration Degree from Xavier University. She has 19 years of fundraising experience and worked at Xavier University in the Office of the Annual Fund and Alumni Relations from 2003-2010. During her tenure at Xavier, Norah helped create the Women of Excellence and served as its Executive Director (2008-2010). Currently she is Director of Development, Annual Giving at The Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, OH.

Julie J. Murphy, XU 1985 is a strategic management/financial services executive. She is president and franchise co-owner of WSI/NexTier Solutions, where she is responsible for franchise operations under a national franchise license, Internet marketing and web site design/development. Murphy is also vice president and co-owner of The Marketing Alliance. She is responsible for business development and client service. Prior to these two positions, she held various jobs with American Financial Group/Great American Insurance Co. Her last position in 2005 was that of corporate vice president and chief information officer. In addition to her professional career, Murphy is married to Dan Murphy (Class of 1985) and is mom to Kelsey (13) and Matthew (9).

Christine Reed Helmick graduated cum laude from Xavier University in 2008 with a degree in Organizational Communication. She has worked on the development staff of Cincinnati Opera for the past four years and currently manages the strategic direction, budget structure and income solicitation of Cincinnati Opera's special campaigns and fundraising events. Christine is working toward her MBA from Xavier University's Williams College of Business.

Amy received her BSBA in Accounting from Xavier in '83 and began her career in the Cincinnati offices of Deloitte & Touche. She completed her Masters in Theology in '97 and spent a decade in the college and high school classrooms educating young adults. Today, she combines her business knowledge, education experience and certification in the MBTI® and Strong® to help students discover their interests, strengths and communication style for success in college and career via Ruberg Advisory Services, LLC. An active mentor with Women of Excellence, she was named the 2010 "Mentor of the Year." She is a member of both the Midwest Association of Colleges & Employers and the Southern Association of Colleges & Employers.

Debra "Debe" Terhar, XU '01 is vice president of administration for Strategic Planning Advisors, LLC, a consulting firm founded by her husband, Lou. She has served as a faculty/staff campaigner for Summit Country Day's Dreambuilding Campaign 2003-06. Debe and Lou were members of Xavier's Parent Development Council 2003-04.

Carol Walker is vice president of human resources for the Southwest Ohio division of Time Warner Cable. In her role, Carol oversees all facets of the HR department for Cincinnati, Dayton and the Miami Valley area. A native Cincinnatian and graduate of Roger Bacon High School, she earned her BSBA in human resources at Xavier University and went on to achieve a master's degree of arts from the University of Cincinnati in labor and employee relations.

Karen Wells is vice president of strategy and menu for McDonalds USA, LLC. In this role, she is responsible for developing and communicating fully integrated, cross-functional plans to drive long-term growth against the core McDonald's U.S. business. In leading the Menu Strategy Team, Wells oversees a talented and innovative team to develop and help shape the McDonald's menu for the more than 26 million U.S. customers we serve every day. As a member of the McDonald's U.S. Leadership Team, she also focuses on expanding strategic partnerships and alliances across all facets of the McDonald's U.S. business both internally, with franchisees, and with suppliers. Wells holds a BSA in marketing from Xavier University and a MBA from Meredith College in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Pamela Zipperer-Davis, XU '87, '89 is Chief Executive Officer of Cembex Revenue Management, LLC, a healthcare consulting and management company serving clients throughout the nation. CembexRM provides Human Resources, temporary staffing, financial, accounting, payroll, billing, negotiation, management, advisory, and consulting services to medical groups, health systems, diagnostic centers, and other healthcare clients. Formerly Chief Executive Officer of Greater Cincinnati Associated Physicians, Inc. (GCAP) she has twenty (20) years experience in managed care and practice management. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and The American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE).
