About the Mentoring Program
The Women of Excellence mentoring program is a partnership with the University's Career Development Center. We invite you to share your experience and practical real-world advice with our students by becoming a mentor. As a mentor, you become a role model who can make a difference in the lives and career choices of our students. Not only is this a fulfilling and rewarding opportunity for both you and students, but it's also a way for you to stay connected to the University and the Jesuit legacy of being a woman for others.
Seeking Mentors for Students
The Women of Excellence mentoring program is a partnership with the University's Career Development Center. The Mentoring and Experiential Education Coordinator is looking for a few good women and men to match with students who have requested mentor relationships. She is actively recruiting individuals who can assist students in exploring career opportunities that complement their anticipated degrees and interest.
We welcome mentors from a variety of industries as new students are always enrolling. This is a great opportunity to assist students and help them look beyond traditional career paths for their major and help them discover the world of opportunities available to them. It is not necessary to live in Cincinnati to become a meaningful mentor to a Xavier student. The relationship can be very successful with e-mail, phone/Skype communications. It's easy to become a mentor.
