Spring 2013 Newsletter
It is the time of the year when Women of Excellence accepts grant applications for projects or programs run by students groups or faculty. The grants are awarded from funds which we raise each year through our Women of Excellence Giving Circle.
If you haven't renewed your Giving Circle membership yet or would like to become a member, you have until April 1, 2013 to make your contribution in order to be eligible to vote on this year's grant requests. Full membership for the Giving Circle is $1,000. You can also be eligible for a partial membership with a contribution of $100 or more. Your vote will be pro-rated based on the level of your giving.
I encourage all of you to continue your membership or join the Giving Circle as it is a great way for us to support the students and faculty on campus.
You can become a member by making your online contribution using your credit card or by sending a check made out to Xavier University, 3800 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45207-5430, Attn: Anne Ernst. Please note "WOX"in the memo field.
Invitations will be forthcoming for our annual award luncheon which will be held on Thursday, April 25th at noon where we will announce the grant award winners. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend. Invitations will be forthcoming.
As always, we welcome your insight and thoughts on how we as a community can continue to focus on our mission to honor, extend and advance the legacy of Xavier and Edgecliff's extraordinary women graduates, as well as provide opportunities for women to grow as organizational and philanthropic leaders for the University. Please share your input by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 513-745-2865.
Kind Regards ,
