What We Do
The Xavier Women’s Center has a history of providing programming and resources to support women students, faculty and staff. In 1972 Xavier University opened Breen Lodge its first Educational Resource Center for women. Since then, the Center has expanded its focus to provide inclusive programming and services for both men and women. We are committed to insuring an informed and just community for women through advocacy, education and research.
Our Mission is to enhance the development of students, faculty and staff by creating an informed and just community for women through advocacy, education and research.
Our Vision is to be a site of learning that is essential to Xavier University’s efforts to create an equitable and inclusive Jesuit Education for the women students, faculty and staff.
We strive to be globally accessible and a model Women’s Center for Jesuit Institutions.
