Critical Centers Film Series
The Women's Center contributes to the university’s vibrant educational environment by offering the Critical Centers Film Series. These occasional gatherings consist of a film viewing at the Women's Center and a facilitated discussion. The films encompass a wide range of topics related to women, girls, and gender to broaden and challenge our understandings of gender in global cultures.
Throughout the Fall 2009 semester, we will show a film each Friday from 2-4pm at the Women's Center. Join us any given Friday afternoon and enjoy freshly-baked cookies, hot popcorn, comfortable furniture, good company, and a great movie! We are currently inviting individuals from the campus community to choose a film for a Friday of their choice, and then present/introduce their film to the group. If you are interested in choosing a film, please contact Amy Goetz at 745-3940 at least TWO WEEKS ahead of the date of your choice.
Check this page and our calendar often for more updates and information about the Fall 2009 film series.
