Maastricht, The Netherlands

Located in the southernmost tip of the Netherlands, Maastricht is a dynamic city, located only a few hours from Europe’s major cities. Although Maastricht is not very large (125,000 inhabitants), it is usually buzzing with people day and night, many of which are students. Tourists enjoy shopping, visiting the hundreds of cafés and restaurants or one of the 1660 monuments in Maastricht. The historical buildings, medieval ruins and friendly people make it a popular destination and livable city.
