Professional Development Center
The Professional Development Center (PDC) is designed to help students (and alumni) in the Williams College of Business prepare for their professional careers. Through one-one-one career advising, networking opportunities, group presentations, and a business career resource library, students can enhance the knowledge and skills gained through the Business Profession Program and make connections to accelerate their internship and job searches.
In addition to the workshops and programs offered to currently enrolled undergraduates through the Business Profession Program, the PDC also offers the following, many of which are also offered to our alumni:
Networking events that are designed to promote interaction between students, alumni, corporate recruiters, executives, and peers in a social setting.
One-to-One Career Coaching
Individual appointments are available for currently enrolled business students and business alumni who wish to discuss any aspect of a career or job search - from career decision-making to evaluating job offers. To schedule an appointment with a Career Coach, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 745-4272.
The PDC recommends these job boards as a good start to your career search. The eRecruiting online database serves as the main venue for employers to post jobs for Xavier students and alumni. It provides 24/7 access to internship and job opportunities and on-campus interview schedules.
