Strategic Human Resources Management Minor
Until recently, virtually all human resource matters in a company were handled by a separate human resource department. In the last few years, however, managers in areas such as accounting, marketing, finance, manufacturing, etc. are expected to handle responsibilities such as the hiring, mentoring and evaluation of their subordinates themselves. As a consequence, it is beneficial for managers in all areas to have a good working knowledge of human resources issues.
