Dr. Cunningham has been a faculty member Xavier University since 1985. Her chief interest is quality management and she primarily writes cases and other educational materials.

Dr. Cunningham lives with her husband, Dan, and two children, Marvin and Emily, in Lebanon. She owns three Morgan horses and enjoys competing in dressage.
