Lifang Wu is an assistant professor in Operations Management at Williams College of Business, Xavier University. He received a PhD degree in Operations Management from The University of Iowa in 2004, a M.B.A. degree from Zhejiang University (China) in 2000 and a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and a B. Eng. in Industrial Management from Tianjin University (China) in 1992. He had eight years of industrial experience in areas of engineering and operations management. His research interests include supply chain management, product variety management, revenue management, and the interface between Marketing and Operations. His doctoral dissertation title is “Essays on Product Variety Management”. He was the first place winner of APICS Doctoral Dissertation Research Competition in 2004.
