Students with any major are eligible to earn a minor in economics. The study of economics emphasizes both analytic reasoning and a through knowledge of economic institutions. The minor has proven useful to people who have moved into positions in many of the functional areas of business.
Courses in the minor
15 credits required to complete the minor:
- ECON 200
- ECON 201
- ECON 305 or 306
- Two upper division (ECON 300 or 400 level) courses.*
*Students in the Williams College of Business may not count ECON 300 in the minor.
A 2.000 cumulative average must be attained in the courses of the minor.
