Weekend MBA

About the Program

Xavier’s MBA weekend program is designed for students who find that taking classes during the week is inconvenient. The weekend MBA program offers the 36 hours of the upper level core MBA curriculum on Saturdays.

By taking two courses on Saturdays for six consecutive semesters, a student will receive the Xavier MBA degree in two years. Admission to the weekend program is competitive. Each fall approximately 30 students are chosen for admission. Students participate in a cohort-like program and attend courses only once a week.

The 36-hour weekend MBA program requires that all Foundation Skill courses be completed before admission. Individuals needing foundation skills may take them in the evening MBA program via the Saturday Undergraduate Pre-MBA program or have them waived by undergraduate academic credit, or examination.

The weekend MBA program starts each year in the fall semester. Morning and afternoon classes are offered on Saturdays. Students follow and established curriculum of 12 courses that are offered sequentially.
