Dr. Arthur Shriberg, Ed.D.

Other Information: Dr. Shriberg, a Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship, spent twenty years as a Vice President or Dean in four urban universities. Currently, he teaches courses in Leadership, Management Skills, Human Resources, and Consulting Skills. He also chairs the university wide academic program called E Pluribus Unum. He is the senior author (with Richa Kumari and his son David Shriberg) of a well known college text book entitled Practicing Leadership: Principles and Applications. They are currently preparing a fourth edition of this book, published by Wiley & Sons. He also is the senior author (with Richa Kumari and Vincent Brown) of a bi-monthly column entitled “Inclusive Leadership”, that is syndicated in several newspapers throughout the country. Currently he is writing a book entitled Living an Inclusive Life at Work, Play and Beyond. Dr. Shriberg has written numerous articles and is a regular presenter at professional conferences. He is extremely active in the community and is the past president of the Cincinnati Human Relations Commission. He has consulted with and facilitated training programs concerning leadership, diversity, management skills and group communication skills in over 150 corporate, governmental, health care, not-for-profit, and educational settings. He is a well respected management coach and a well known motivational speaker.
