This June the Xavier Women's MBA Association will be partnering with the Women of Excellence and several on-campus associations to bring you the Professional Women's Summit. This half day conference will feature a variety of speakers who will engage with you on issues of Leadership, Career Planning, Family, and Healthy Living - just some of the elements a woman manages every day.

Fifth Third Trading Center Hours

The Fifth Third Trading Center is a student-managed facility committed to the study and application of finance. Summer hours for the center are as follows:

Monday-Thursday 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Friday-Saturday Closed
Sunday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Duration: Monday May 13, 2013 to Thursday August 8, 2013

In addition to the above evening hours these morning hours will be available starting in July

Monday-Thursday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Duration: Monday July 1, 2013 – Thursday August 8, 2013

Exceptions: SMH 106 will be closed Memorial Day and July 4th

FINC 484 Looking for a New Client

FINC 484, the Williams College of Business undergraduate consulting course, is in looking for a new client for the spring semester. MBA alums and entrepreneurs who might be interested in becoming a client and receiving free consulting, should please contact Dr. Julie Cagle at cagle@xavier.edu or 513-745-3103.

The Xavier Leadership Center is Now Offering CMA

The Xavier Leadership Center is now offering CMA – Certified Management Accounting – certification. According to Dr. Sandra Richtermeyer, chair of the XU Williams College of Business, the CMA designation offers a track for individuals in accounting & finance who want to do something different from a CPA track. The CMA has become a global passport as it is recognized as a professional designation that crosses borders but maintains industry standards. Anyone interested in the CMA should attend the CMA information session on August 13th from 5 p.m. -7 p.m. at the Cintas Center. Visit http://xavierleadershipcenter.com/ to register.
