This project is with the United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Cincinnati. Students are needed to help UCP develop a business plan and executive presentation to raise $3 million in funding for a building campaign to better serve individuals with disabilities.

The proposal from Susan Schiller, UCP Executive Director can be found here along with an information flyer. Prof. Joe Carter will oversee the consulting project and will be the Professor sponsoring the tutorial. The selected consultants will receive 3 hours of elective credit for the experience via a tutorial/independent Study.

The Professional Development Center is pleased to announce the fall semester Networking Reception was a huge success.

This event, a collaboration with the Xavier Women’s MBA Association, was held on November 29th in an effort to connect with employers from the Greater Cincinnati area, fellow students and alums, faculty and staff.

The event kicked off with a discussion on effective networking tips by Maggie McClanahan, Associate Client Manager at Nielsen.

In the spirit of holiday giving there were door prizes for attendees. More than $300 in cash, gift cards and school supplies was collected from attendees for our featured non-profit, “Faces without Places” www.faceswithoutplaces.org. This organization works to provide funding and educational resources to the thousands of children attending school in the Greater Cincinnati area that are experiencing homelessness.
