2012-13 Class Night/Game Night Parking Options for Students/Faculty

There are six evenings, in the fall and spring semesters, when classes are in session and a men’s basketball game is hosted in the Cintas Center. On these evenings, alternate plans should be made in advance of the game night for where to park when arriving on campus. Lots around the Cintas Center (Husman, C1, C2-C4, Flynn Hall, and Campus Services lots) will be closed off at least two hours prior to the scheduled tipoff time. These dates/times are as follows:

  • Tuesday, November 13th – vs. Butler at 4:00PM
  • Thursday, December 6th – vs. Vanderbilt at 7:30PM
  • Thursday, January 10th – vs. Temple at 7:00 PM
  • Wednesday, January 30th – vs. Dayton at 9:00PM
  • Wednesday, February 13th – vs. Fordham at 7:00PM
  • Wednesday, March 6th – vs. Saint Louis at 9:00PM

We highly recommend allowing additional time in order to get to your classes on these evenings if your class begins after 2PM. Alternative parking for on campus class locations is also recommended.

Please view the 2012-2013 Xavier Basketball Game Day parking information and campus map for clarification of the above lot locations.

Thank you for your cooperation and GO MUSKETEERS!

Professional Development Center Networking Reception: A Collaboration with the Xavier Women’s MBA Association

November 29th, 5-7 pm/Surkamp Family Conference Center – Alumni Center at Xavier

Williams College of Business MBAs, Juniors, Seniors and alumni are invited to this holiday Networking Reception. This is a great opportunity to connect with employers from the Greater Cincinnati area, fellow students and alums, faculty and staff.

The event will kick off with a discussion on effective networking tips by Maggie McClanahan, Associate Client Manager at Nielsen – and there will be plenty of time to put those tips to work throughout the night!

In the spirit of holiday giving, there will be a number of Xavier items as door prizes for attendees, including tickets to a Xavier Men’s Basketball Game (game TBD).

Attendees are also encouraged to bring donations for our featured non-profit, Faces without Places. This organization works to provide funding and educational resources to the thousands of children attending school in the Cincinnati area that are experiencing homelessness.

Click here for a list of suggested donation items. Cash donations will also be accepted and will be used to purchase items from the donation list.

Dress is business casual. Appetizers will be provided.
