The ACG Tournament is a hands-on experience to utilize your Finance knowledge to gain an expertise in a corporate merger or acquisition. This is a great opportunity to:

The Professional Development Center (PDC) is the career resource center located in the Williams College of Business and supports current MBA students and MBA alumni. Williams College of Business MBAs, Juniors, Seniors and alumni are invited to this holiday Networking Reception. This is a great opportunity to connect with employers from the Greater Cincinnati area, fellow students and alums, faculty and staff.

The event will kick off with a discussion on effective networking tips by Maggie McClanahan, Associate Client Manager at Nielsen – and there will be plenty of time to put those tips to work throughout the night!

In the spirit of holiday giving, there will be a number of Xavier items as door prizes for attendees, including tickets to a Xavier Men’s Basketball Game (game TBD).

Attendees are also encouraged to bring donations for our featured non-profit, Faces without Places. This organization works to provide funding and educational resources to the thousands of children attending school in the Cincinnati area that are experiencing homelessness.

An overwhelming number of professionals in the marketplace feel disengaged with their current career or a lack of control in what their futures may hold. In today's economic environment, it is important for professionals to take a proactive approach to career planning - determining where you see your professional fit and actively engaging in opportunities to build experience and skills necessary to get there.

This session will guide you through the process of determining possibilities for your future - in your current organization or beyond! Discussion will take place on how you can connect with others that serve as advocates for you in your professional development and how you can develop yourself as a marketable candidate in your industry of interest. Developing a road map for your future can make the process of getting to your destination a much more empowering and enjoyable one!
