Call for MBA Volunteers

Cincinnati Union Bethel is looking for volunteers! This great organization is looking for an MBA who would like to build their resume in budgeting, financial management, and accounting while giving back to the local community.

Description: Lead a biweekly class that teaches a curriculum centered on basic budgeting and family finance (12 modules). Perform most preparations pertaining to lessons. Coordinate supply acquisition with Program Supervisor. Communicate regularly with Program Supervisor about class developments and needs.

Get “The Executive Perspective”

You are invited to join the Cincinnati Chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs for their event, The Executive Perspective. This executive panel discussion will feature Nellie Borrero, Global Inclusion & Diversity Executive with Accenture; Douglas J. Izarra, Vice President for Americas Sales with GE Aviation; and J. Michael Schlotman, Sr. Vice President and Chief Financial Officer with the Kroger Company. The panel will be sharing their thoughts on the topic of “Defining Success.” This event is free and open to all, with registration.

The MBA Professional Development invites you to attend the last of our Summer Skills Series workshops taking place on Friday, August 10th from 1-5 pm. Session Description:
We all seem to agree we need to be more innovative. Some say it is the predominant way in the information age for organizations to achieve sustainable competitive advantage. So what is innovation? Len Brzozowski, of the Xavier Leadership Center, will guide participants through an active discussion on how leading organizations like P&G, IDEO, May Clinic, Google and others make it work in practice. Attendees will explore these topics and what it takes systematically and culturally to make innovation an important piece of your organizational tool kit.
