About the Heroes of Ethics
What is the program?
The Heroes of Professional Ethics Series is an annual event that celebrates the importance of ethics in the workplace. The event is sponsored by Jerry and Janet Belle, the Cintas Corporation and Xavier University. Each year, the event's sponsors will present a keynote speaker with a unique perspective or experience relevant to ethics in the work environment.
Why do it?
Business ethics has come to the forefront of attention over the past few years, unfortunately, for all the wrong reasons; this is why ethics education is so vitally important. The program is designed to accomplish the following:
- Educate Cincinnati's business and student communities about moral courage in the workplace.
- Promote ethical leadership when facing difficult decisions or false consensus.
- Encourage our current and future business leaders to incorporate moral character and responsibility into their decisions.
The Heroes of Professional Ethics Lecture Series, made possible by the generosity of Jerry and Janet Belle, is an annual event that celebrates the importance of ethics within the business environment. The speech is co-sponsored by the Cintas Corporation and Xavier University. The Cintas Institute for Business Ethics presents keynote speakers with unique perspectives and experiences, relevant to ethics in the workplace.
