The Xavier entrepreneurial center offers counseling and mentoring for students seeking entrepreneurial experiences such as internships, co-ops or consulting in small businesses. For students starting their own ventures, the faculty of the entrepreneurial center and members of the advisory board also provide advice and mentoring, such as helping assess business opportunities, gain access to essential resources or address key start-up challenges.

We offer assistance to local entrepreneurs through our small business consulting course in which groups of students examine a problem facing the business and develop a solution. We also help entrepreneurs identify sources of information and available resources they can use as they develop business plans, incorporate the business, and so forth. Our micro-loan program provides financial assistance to fledgling businesses needing the capital to meet customer orders and grow the business.
