Web Branding & Style Guide: Overview

The web branding and style guide is established to promote consistency and branding across all Xavier University web sites. All departmental web pages designed and developed outside of Campusuite should adhere to web standards: be css based, accessible, usable, and search engine friendly.

At A Glance:

Page Width: 960px. This is based on the most commonly viewed monitor size of 1024x768.

Template alignment: Centered

Page Background: White

Text Fonts: Arial

Text Font Color: Black

Text link style: Underline. Text link color is blue #003082.

Masthead & Footer:
Must be deployed on all Xavier’s web pages. The masthead must include the Xavier University lockup logo on the left hand side, white text on blue background. This is used to consistently identify Xavier University web pages. The logo must link back to the Xavier University home page.

The footer rule must contain copyright information and university address and phone numbers.
