Boots to Suits

Golf Scramble

Xavier University Veterans Affairs Center successfully hosted the first annual Boots to Suits Golf Scramble.

The golf scramble was held July 7th at Maketewah Country Club to raise proceeds that benefit the student veterans of Xavier. The all-day events included lunch and prizes for 52 participants. Luckily, the rain held off long enough for all thirteen 4-person teams to complete the 18-hole course.

The winning team of Brian McEnvoy, Ryan Peckerpaugh, Tyler Saxton, and Chris Klug trophies for a total score of 59. The Golf Scramble concluded with an awards banquet and dinner at the Maketewah Country Club.

The Center for Veterans Affairs is focused on the transition of veterans into the educational setting by providing the tools necessary for student veteran success. With benefits like financial planning, psychological assistance, and career counseling, Xavier strives to provide the best resources possible for student veterans and their future. Thank you to the participants of Boots to Suits for supporting the services that Xavier provides for their success.
