The Campus Suite web platform is the university's tool for maintaining office and departmental web presences. It allows approved individuals to create and edit web content on specific websites. Online training resources are available, group training sessions are held on a regular basis and individual trainings are available upon request. The Office of University Communications creates and maintains the web infrastructure, designs and standards for university web development. It partners closely with enrollment and fundraising teams to further university goals and supports other campus users with quick web update requests.
The Office of University Communications creates branded email templates for use by the enrollment and fundraising teams. Those teams manage the content and execution of their email communications. University Communications also coordinates university-wide email messages from senior administration when appropriate. Individual email blasts or departmental emails are not managed or supported by University Communications.
The Office of University Communications executes video projects that impact Xavier's enrollment and fundraising goals and the university's overall brand identity. Video proposals may be submitted online and will be considered after consultation with the appropriate enrollment and development teams. If a video request does not fit the office's focus or production timeline, University Communications can connect the requestor with an outside video production partner.
The Office of University Communications asks that departments and offices that want to publicize news in the local media, write up a news release based on this template (download the template).

The Office of University Communications manages the university's main social media accounts on networks like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram and offers advise to any office starting or maintaining a specific university social media account.

All messages to be considered for Today at Xavier publication should be submitted as a university announcement. Announcements for employees will be considered for publication in Today at Xavier according to the posted guidelines.
If a member of your department or office has experienced a death in the family, please send the loved ones' name, relationship to employee, service schedule and memorial information to email@example.com. A notice will be posted in Xavier Today and immediately forwarded to the President's office as well as members of the Senior Executive Team.
