St. Francis Xavier Scholarships

Admission Application Option: Early Action
Scholarship application deadline: December 1, 2007

This full tuition, four-year scholarship is awarded to 10 incoming first-year students with exceptional academic achievement and outstanding leadership involvement in their community and/or school. Typical recipients rank in the top 5 percent of their high school class and have a minimum SAT of 1360 (ACT of 31). Selected students will be interviewed on campus: February 23, 2008

 

Chancellor Scholarships

Admission Application Option: Early Action
Scholarship application deadline: December 1, 2007

Named in honor of Xavier's late Chancellor James E. Hoff, S.J., this four-year scholarship is valued at a minimum of $15,000 annually. It is awarded to 15 incoming first-year students with excellent academic achievement. Typical recipients rank in the top 5 percent of their high school class and have a minimum SAT of 1360 (ACT of 31). Selected students will be interviewed on campus: February 23, 2008

 

Trustee, Schawe, Presidential and Honor Scholarships

Admission Application Option: Early Action or Regular Decision

Xavier offers many academic scholarships to recognize high achieving students. Any student who applies for admission is automatically evaluated for one of these awards. These academic scholarship amounts range from $8,000 to $12,000 annually. Typically, students who receive an award rank at least in the top twenty-five percent of their high school class, have appropriately high grades, and have a minimum SAT of 1130 (25 ACT).

 

National Merit Scholarships

Admission Application Option: Early Action or Regular Decision

National Merit finalists who list Xavier as their first choice and meet the application deadline are guaranteed at least a Trustee or Schawe scholarship, plus a $1,000-$2,000 renewable award depending on financial aid if they do not receive a corporate sponsored National Merit award.
