Alumni Scholarships

Edgecliff Alumni Awards

  • Scholarship application deadline: February 1, 2010
  • Must also apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA by February 15, 2010

Awards are made to incoming freshmen and transfer students who have been accepted for admission to Xavier University that are Edgecliff Alumni relatives (sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and grandchildren). Download the paper application here.

James E. Hoff, S.J. Scholar

An award may be given to an Edgecliff alumni award recipient who demonstrates exceptional leadership, vision, courage, service and compassion in his or her academic and personal life. The amount of the award varies and is in addition to a student's Edgecliff award. James E. Hoff, S.J. Scholars designation is awarded at the discretion of the Committee.

Indiana Alumni Scholarship

  • Scholarship application deadline: March 1, 2010
  • Must also apply for financial aid by completing the FAFSA by February 15, 2010

One one-year $2,000 scholarship is given to an incoming freshman from Indiana. Applicants must apply for financial by completing the FASFA by February 15.

Legacy Scholarship

Two (2) $3,000 renewable Legacy Scholarships are awarded to qualifying Xavier undergraduates who are lineal descendants (children or grandchildren) of Xavier graduates.
