Transfer Scholarships and Financial Aid
Choosing Xavier University is an important step toward achieving your life and career goals. We also are eager to help you address important financial assistance issues.
While a transfer student does not qualify for many of the scholarships available to freshmen, Xavier University does provide institutional financial assistance to transfer students through various resources when you enroll as a full time student. Weekend Degree Program students do not qualify for our transfer scholarships because of the tuition discount that is received. In addition, a link to outside scholarships is made available to you. The links include:
- Transfer scholarships
- Xavier adult & transfer grants
- Outside scholarship opportunities
- Private scholarship opportunities
For the 2012-2013 academic year, transfer students were awarded over $1 million in Xavier grants and scholarships, including awards made to members of Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, who graduated from two-year institutions and were each awarded $13,000 per year. If you are awarded our transfer scholarship, you cannot also receive our Phi Theta Kappa scholarship.
