Bias Advisory Team

Attached is a letter from Fr. Graham to Xavier students regarding the University's efforts to prevent and respond to bias incidents on campus.

Sr. Rose Ann night

Tonight, Monday, Nov. 24, Sr. Rose Ann Fleming is being honored at the men's basketball game for her part in shaping the team's extraordinary academic record for three decades. During halftime, Sr. Rose Ann is being joined by President Michael Graham, S.J., and several former student athletes while her “number” is retired. Additionally, the first 3,000 fans to arrive receive a commemorative Sr. Rose Ann Fleming bobblehead.

Online enrollment ends

Online enrollment for medical, dental, vision and voluntary/specialty insurance ends today, Monday, Nov. 24. Employees who neither elect nor decline will be defaulted to the 2014 plan type and their FSA and HSA elections will not roll over to 2015. Banking benefit

Faculty and staff who sign up for a new personal checking account with Workplace Banking at the U.S. Bank branch located in the Gallagher Student Center before Monday, Dec. 1, are eligible to receive $100. For more information, visit the branch or call 3798.

Prayer Service

Students and faculty/staff are invited to Bellarmine Chapel's "From Darkness to Hope" prayer service on Monday, Dec. 1, at 7:30 p.m. for those experiencing loss or discouragement during the holiday season. Troops toy drive

The Center for Veterans Affairs is hosting a Toy Drive for the Troop and Family Assistance Center. Donations of toys, hats, gloves, coats and more for military families in Southwest Ohio are welcome. Drop-off points for donations are at McGrath Health and Wellness Center, the Alumni Center, Schott Hall and the O'Connor Sports Center. Holiday health tips

Dr. Kim Miller, staff physician for Xavier Wellness Service, offers a list of tips to help faculty, students and staff stay safe and healthy while traveling over the holidays.

Holiday hours of operation

All Xavier eateries and retail shops have reduced hours of operation over the Thanksgiving break while the University is closed. See the attached flier for a complete listing and the hours each location is open.

Xfit door prizes

Several Xfit Benefits Fair door prizes remain unclaimed. Please refer to the attached list: If you're a winner and have not yet picked up your gift, please stop by the Office of Human Resources (Rm. 132 Alumni Center) Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Today publication

Because of the Thanksgiving holiday, Today at Xavier is not being published on Thursday, Nov. 27, and Monday, Dec. 1. Regular publication resumes on Thursday, Dec. 4.
