Mini-grant recipients

In support of the Xavier Way Strategic Plan, the University “Mission Animators,” a group working with Fr. Graham to animate the Jesuit identity, present the mini-grant recipients and activities on the topics of immigration, migration and refugees for the upcoming academic year. Ride for cancer research

The American Cancer Society’s 10th Annual Pan Ohio Hope Ride begins from the Cintas Center plaza at 9:00 a.m. today, Thursday, July 21. Nearly 400 cyclists are leaving on a four-day, 328-mile ride to Cleveland to raise money for cancer research. Cheer on the cyclists as they depart. Learn more about the Hope Ride.

Temporary road closings

In support of the Pan Ohio Hope Ride, some roads are temporarily closed around campus today, Thursday, July 21. The access road in front of the Cintas South doors will be closed from 7:00 a.m.-9:15 a.m., and Saint Francis Xavier Way from Cintas plaza to Musketeer Drive and Musketeer Drive to Montgomery Road will be closed from 8:45 a.m.-9:15 a.m.

New copiers and printers

The Office of Auxiliary Services is replacing copying and printing devices with new Toshiba copiers and multi-function printers. The delivery schedule is tentatively set for July 26-Aug. 12. Auxiliary Services is holding an open house on Friday, July 22, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Clock Tower Lounge in the Gallagher Student Center where faculty and staff can preview the new equipment. Servant Leadership program

The Xavier Leadership Center is offering a Servant Leadership program on Wednesday, Dec. 7. Servant leaders achieve success by addressing the needs of those they serve, reflecting Xavier’s mission of developing men and women for others. This program will offer insight into how passion, a winning attitude, commitment to continuous improvement and strong character contribute to exemplary leadership. Xavier employee discounts apply.
