At Xavier, the world outside the classroom is yours to discover. The University boasts more than 100 academic clubs, social and service organizations, and recreational sports activities. Your involvement options range from campus ministry to student government, from the student newspaper to the pre-med club. You can build a house through the student chapter of Habitat for Humanity, tutor school children, play intramural basketball, golf or soccer, or a join a club sport team like crew or lacrosse. There are a multitude of spiritual opportunities and retreats, plus creative outlets like the Xavier Players theater group, which, like many student organizations, is housed in the new Gallagher Student Center.
