- Job description: The Student Director of Diversity serves the Xavier community as an appointed member of the Student Government Association (SGA) to facilitate and promote diversity and the many cultures of Xavier students. This position seeks to appropriately acknowledge all issues related to diversity throughout the campus, whether is be racial, ethnic, gender or sexual orientation in order to provide a welcoming and comforting environment for all students that satisfies the unique needs of all students. This position also strives to foster awareness of the existing diversity in the Xavier community and the need for cross-cultural dialogue through community-wide education and programming.The Student Director of Diversity is a peer advocate and point of contact within the Student Government Association for the student body regarding issues of discrimination and harassment concerns.
- Primary agendas for the year: 1) Form the Human Relations Council, a student committee under SGA which would work specifically to promote diversity through specific and intentional programming. 2) Host Xavier's first Ethnic Bazaar, a collaborative performance by many Xavier groups which would highlight the beauty that stems from the diversity within the Xavier community. 3) Continue the efforts of last year's Student Director of Diversity to create an African Studies Major by furthering its process.

- Claim to Fame: I spent a semester of my junior year on an Academic Service Learning Semester in Ghana and I can talk exceedingly faster than anyone you know.
- Favorite thing about Xavier: The family feel that separates the Xavier community from other universities.
