NEW: Executive Allocation Fund

Create a process for all student groups, students, and departments to be able to request funding in order to pursue student centered ideas and improvements around campus.

Our progress so far...

• Created a process that was approved by the Senate and the SAC
• First round of applications were sent out with an October 1 deadline for review.
• $15,000 was allocated to the fund for people to apply to
• $88,000 in requests were made by 13 applicants.
• Ultimately decided to fund the following:

$10,000 to Improve the Sound System in the GSC Theatre, $3,000 to help refurbish an Art Classroom in order to turn it into a design studio, $1,750 to fund the Late Night Committee in SAC to plan events, $250 to fund the Board of Elections to promote the upcoming SGA elections

• The application will be reopened in the coming weeks for another round of ideas
• Seeking feedback from all applicants to assess how the application process worked.

NEW: Diversity Allocation Fund

Create a process for all student groups, students, and departments to be able to request funding in order to pursue diversity initiatives on campus.

Our progress so far...

• Created a process that was approved by the Senate and the SAC
• Applications were sent out to a group of faculty, staff and students on campus as well as posted on the portal.
• Applications will be put online at xavier.edu/sga.
• Applications will be rolling throughout the year until the total budget for diversity is depleted.
