Redesign Shuttle Program

Bring software that allows students to track the shuttle online or from a smartphone so that more students will use the shuttle. Also, expand the routes to better serve the needs of Xavier Students.

Our progress so far...
  • Designed a map that was placed in GSC for student feedback as to where the shuttle should go
  • Working with Safety Team 2 to possibly expand the shuttle
  • Bought DoubleMap Tracking system for the upcoming year. Now all Xavier shuttles (including entertainment, shopping, and airport) can be tracked online at or with a smartphone app found in the app store or android market.
  • Design new route for nightly shuttle. See it here!
Note: shuttle will be going to Dana?s!
  • Added Rookwood to the shopping shuttle.
  • Entertainment shuttle will now run every Saturday night from 6pm-12am. Stops will include Over The Rhine (Main and Vine St), The Banks, and Newport.
  • Assessing the number of riders from the 6-10 pm weekday shuttle. Possible re-evaluating the demand. Please let us know any thoughts you have on this.
Target completion date:  August 17, 2012
Status:  Completed
Will track shuttle usage throughout the year and potentially add new routes! Email Seth Walsh, Kristin Sanfilippo, or Matt Morefield any ideas you have about potential shuttle routes!
