TRANSFER STUDENT ORIENTATION
Xavier offers TWO orientation programs for transfer students.
Transfer Orientation: Required
Sunday, August 25th, 2013 10:00a.m.- 3:00p.m.
(Check-in begins at 9:30a.m. in the Cintas Center)
All new transfer students are expected to attend. At transfer orientation you will meet current transfer students, new transfer students, become oriented with campus and campus services, and more! More information, including schedule, will be available by mid-July. There is no fee for the transfer orientation but you need to register by August 15, 2013 on the Road to Xavier. Transfer orientation is just for students so parents should check out the resources on the right.
If you are living on campus, please visit the Residence Life website for move-in information but note that you will need to move-in to your residence hall on Saturday, August 24.
Wednesday, August 21st- Sunday, August 25th
In addition to transfer orientation, you have the option of participating in Xavier's new student orientation program, Manresa. While geared toward first year college students, Manresa is also useful for transfer students. Students attending Manresa will also attend transfer orientation. There are parent/family sessions available during Manresa for families of registered participants. To participate in Manresa, there is a $190 fee that will be charged to your Bursar bill upon registration. To participate in Manresa, you will need to register on the Road to Xavier by July 26, 2013.
