Involvement Internships


Student Involvement's Interns are student leaders who work as a team to assist with the advancement of Office of Student Involvement programs and provide direct support for the office while continually developing and enhancing their individual leadership skills and talents.

 

Leadership Development


Leadership Development Interns create and facilitate leadership programming. The interns work closely with the Assistant Director of Leadership and Orientation to provide opportunities for all students to grow in leadership through workshops, retreats, and speakers such as the Emerging Leaders Initiative and the Sophomore Leadership Challenge.


Student Organizations & Programming


Student Organization & Programming Interns are involved in the creation and implementation of many programs, including The Muskies and Club Day. They work closely with the the Student Organizations Coordinator to offer support and training for student clubs and organizations.
 

Office Operations


The Office Operations intern supports the staff and programs in the Office of Student Involvement, including Family Weekend, the Student Leadership Assembly, and A Year in T-Shirts. They work closely with all staff in the office to manage day-to-day logistics and tasks.


Peer Leader Program


The Peer Leader Program intern supports the all aspects of the Peer Leader Program including recruitment and selection, training, matching, programming, newsletters, and student support. They work closely with the Assistant Director of Leadership & Orientation to manage the program.
