LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Emerging Leaders Initiative

Emerging Leaders Initiative (ELI) is a weekly program that aims to advance the leadership skills of Xavier's first year students. We explore leadership in relation to the individual and group through a variety of interactive activities and discussion. The program is facilitated by upper-class student leaders and aims to help younger students enhance their skills and form connections with other Xavier leaders.

Emerging Leaders Retreat

Emerging Leaders Retreat (ELR) is an overnight retreat designed for first and second-year students beginning their leadership development journey. It provides an opportunity for students to learn from their peers and develop their own leadership skills while also serving as a catalyst for self-discovery and relationship building. A large portion of the retreat focuses on the concept of "team" and encourages students to build relationships with other Xavier student leaders.
