The Week of Welcome (WoW) is a week of FREE events welcoming first year and transfer students to campus and welcoming back returning students to Xavier University. Week of Welcome is coordinated and promoted by the Office of Student Involvement, but made possible by the dozens of clubs and departments sponsoring events throughout the week.

This year's Week of Welcome begins at the conclusion of Manresa (5pm on Sunday, August 25) and continues through Labor Day Weekend concluding at the Club Day on the Yard (Tuesday, September 3). Student Organizations, Offices and Departments are encouraged to submit event proposals for Week of Welcome events through OrgSync.

Event submissions from student organizations will be accepted until Friday, April 26. Offices and Departments may submit proposals until Friday, May 10.

Schedule

Activities and events range from cookouts on the Xavier Yard to FREE Fitness Classes at O'Connor to recreational sports tournaments to free entertainment such as concerts, comedians and much much more. *ICOR = In Case Of Rain.
