Graduates of Xavier University's sport management/marketing program work in a variety of sport or sport-related settings. While many graduates go on to work with professional sport teams, many work in other exciting settings. Recent graduates are employed in intercollegiate athletics, specialized sport management and marketing firms, in high school athletic administration, in commercial sport, as well as with traditional business.

Graduates of Xavier University's athletic training education program are eligible to sit for the BOC exam. Employment opportunities after graduation and certification depend upon the interests of each individual.

Employment settings include hospitals, sports medicine clinics, industrial, collegiate and professional sports. Many Certified Athletic Trainers continue with graduate studies in sports related fields such as cardiac rehabilitation, exercise physiology, kinesiology, athletic training, nutrition, physical therapy, physicians assistant, sports podiatry, sports psychology, business and marketing.
