There are several important steps and guidelines to consider as you enter into the Field Education program. First, see the step by step process; second complete your Application to Field Placement and hand that into the Field Director, third, review the calendar for important dates, and last print, read, and sign the signature page of the field manual. Once you have completed your application, signed the field manual signature page, and completed your resume, hand all that paperwork into the Field Director. The Field director will review your application and determine your eligibility for field. Once you have been approved, you will be entered into the Blackboard Field Education course. You are also required to attend the mandatory Field Education Orientation training, see calendar for date and time. This orientation will train you in utilizing the Blackboard site and provide you with all the information you need to secure your field site. |
