Background
There have been a variety of problems since the installation of DirecTV on
campus.
Goal
Fix all problems with the cable system
Current Status
There have been no major problems reported at this time. Problems are being handled by Beverly Bobbitt, Assistant Director of Residence Life, on a case by case basis.
History
December 13 report from Beverly Bobbitt:
I'm waiting for a date [to do a system check] as they will possibly have to take some channels off line. We are looking spare parts to the old pre-existing system which could be effecting the quality of reception. We only purchased the system exchange, receivers and modulators. Everything else is 5-6 years old and probably outdated as technology changes. They changed out a bad modulator which was affecting channel 51(CNN).
