Brockman Hall

Brockman Hall was built in 1953 and is the only all first year student residence. Unlike the three other residence halls, Brockman has common area rest rooms and shower facilities on each floor. Brockman Hall houses approximately 260 students. A majority of the rooms are double occupancy with a few designated triple rooms . All of the students on a wing (18-32) share a common bathroom. Substance free living is available upon demand. Brockman Hall is located on the Residential Mall next to the Student Gallagher Center.

Hall Type	First-year, co-ed by wing. Meal plan required.
Room Type	Double bedrooms. Eight rooms are designated triple rooms, four of which are handicapped accessible.
Room Dimensions	12' x 14 1/2' for a double. 11 1/2' x 18.4' or a triple 14.5' x 19.9' for a handicapped triple
Suggested Carpet Size	9' x 12'
Window Treatments	Mini-blinds. Windows measure 34high by 54wide. Screens on windows.
Furniture Provided	Bed, desk (48 wide by24" deep) and desk chair. Beds can be bunked. Storage space under the bed up to 35. Mattresses are 80" long x 36" wide. Extra long sheets are required. Tile floors in rooms.
Closet Size	Built in wardrobe measures 21" wide by 73" high by 27" deep (3 per room). Built in shelve space is 20" wide cy 36" tall with two movable shelves.
Other Amenities	Air conditioned. Non-smoking. Data access is provided (wireless and wired connections). Campus cable is provided. Land-line telephone hook-up provided free of charge upon request.
Common Areas	Laundry facilities, full kitchen and recreation room are located in the basement. A satellite kitchen is located on the second floor. A satellite laundry room is located on the third floor. Vending is available on first and second floors.
