Xavier University is in partnership with the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). NSC acts as Xavier University's authorized agent for providing degree verification for graduates and enrollment verification for students. The National Student Clearinghouse receives data electronically from Xavier University and, in compliance with FERPA, dispenses the information electronically to requesting lending institutions, prospective employers, background investigation firms, and credit granting agencies.
- Go to the Student Hub (http://www.xavier.edu/students/)
- Click on 'Self-Service' and login.
- Click on "Student Services".
- Click on 'Academic Records/Registrar Information'
- Click on "Verification of Enrollment". A screen will appear that will explain the information at the National Student Clearinghouse. Click "continue".
- Follow the instructions to generate your enrollment certification.
If the National Student Clearinghouse can confirm the enrollment the response is immediate and you will be able to print and/or obtain a PDF version of the certificate. The National Student Clearinghouse will contact Xavier University's Office of the Registrar for additional information if it cannot immediately verify your enrollment.
This is a free service for current Xavier University students.
Important Note: Insurance providers may provide their own form of enrollment certification instructing the parent/student to have the form completed by the University's Registrar Office.
For most providers, the National Student Clearinghouse certification is an acceptable alternative to the company's own form. Please print out your verification certificate of enrollment and attach it to the insurance provider's form.
If your insurance company does not accept this certification, please contact the Xavier University Office of the Registrar. If you are seeking an enrollment verification prior to the start of the term you may request a preliminary verification using our paper enrollment verification form.
Xavier University has contracted with the National Student Clearinghouse to process all degree certification requests from non-student third parties such as employers. Xavier University warrants that the results of the inquiries delivered by the National Student Clearinghouse, acting as the University's agent, are based on official Xavier University student records.

If the National Student Clearinghouse can confirm the degree or enrollment, the response is immediate and requestors will be able to print and/or obtain a PDF version of the certificate.
A fee will be collected for this service.
