Registration Information

How To Enter a Team

  1. All entries, team and individual, must be on Official Intramural Entry Forms. Complete and turn in the Intramural Registration Form form to the Intramural Sports Office or register online. Please complete your entry accurately. Incomplete forms will not be accepted! Accuracy is important, because all entries become permanent intramural records. Inaccurate and incomplete information will not be accepted. No entry is acceptable without the team roster information!
  2. Entries must be submitted at the Intramural Sports Office by the entry deadline.
  3. Team names are subject to the approval of the Intramural Director. Any names deemed inappropriate will not be allowed in any fashion. Although a team name may be accepted at time of entry, it may, after review, be deemed inappropriate and thus be disallowed.
  4. Player substitutions in individual and dual tournaments are not permitted AFTER play has begun.
  5. ALL REGISTRATION FEES ($50/team for leagues and $25/team for tournaments) must be turned in with the Registration Form.
  6. All Team Captains must attend the Team Captain's Meeting for rules and schedule information. If you do not attend the Captain's Meeting your team will be charged with a forfeit OR dropped from the schedule completely.

Registration Fees

Registration fees for the 09-10 year will be $50/team for all leagues and $25/team for all tournaments. All registration fees must be brought with your completed team roster to the XUIM office by the entry deadline in order for your team to be put on the XUIM schedule. The registration fee is NOT refundable.

Free Agents

Individuals as well as teams are encouraged to participate in intramurals. Teams are usually formed from residence hall units, student organizations, hometown affiliations, and often simply groups of friends. However, if you want to play but don't know enough people to form a team, don't fret, you can still get involved. All you need to do is email the Free Agent Form to intramurals@xavier.edu. This information will then be posted on the website for teams to see and contact you if interested.

Team captains in search of additional players to fill your roster click on List of Free Agents. A list of all the free agents will be posted including ways to contact them so that they can be added to your team. Additional information is available by calling the Intramural Sports Office at 745-2859.
