Women's Lacrosse

The Xavier University Women’s Lacrosse Club was started in the Spring of 2005. The Club is growing in popularity on campus, and now has 20 active players. In the Spring of 2008, we were accepted into the "WCLL", the Women's Collegiate Lacrosse League; Division B. The 2008 schedule included games against Ball State University, Butler University, University of Chicago, University of Dayton, Davenport University, Western Kentucky University, Ohio State University, University of Toledo, Grand Valley State University (Michigan) and the University of Cincinnati. The Spring 2008 schedule, and results of the 2007 and 2008 seasons can be seen at www.xularcosse.com. We are proud to recognize at least six teammates who are/have coached Cicninnati high school teams; Liz May, Chris Calme, Michelle Trauger, Abby Strietmann, Sarah Cunningham, and Rachel. We welcome athletes who have never played lacrosse to join our club.
