Baseball

The purpose of Xavier Club Baseball is to play competitive baseball while balancing the needed studies required in obtaining an education.
A member of this club is defined as any full-time student at Xavier University that maintains a cumulative GPA above 2.00 that meets all of the University and NCBA membership requirements, and pays all the necessary annual club dues and fees.
The time and effort required for participants in club baseball includes: committing to practice 2-3 times per week throughout the year, preparing to play as many as four games on the weekend during the fall and spring seasons, competing on a talent level at or above junior college abilities, attending all club events, and providing an attitude conducive to winning.
Each Spring Break the club enjoys a trip to practice and play several games in Florida. The traditional trip has taken the club to Ft. Lauderdale once and Tampa Bay twice. While in the Sunshine State, players see competition from across the nation and also enjoy some of the highest quality fields and facilities available. Please visit the National Club Baseball Website for more information on the NCBA or Spring Training. www.clubbaseball.org.
Xavier Club Baseball was formed in the spring of 2003 and joined the National Club Baseball Association's Great Lakes East Conference in 2004. The conference consists of Ohio State, Miami, Dayton, Wright State, University of Cincinnati, University of Kentucky, and Ohio University. Conference champions may earn a birth in the NCBA World Series at the end of the year.
