Interested in the field of MRI?
The program is designed to help MRI technologist working in the field prepare for the ARRT advanced examination or to help radiographers expand their career in MRI imaging.
This is a two-semester certificate program with 17 credit hours of didactic courses and 720 hours of clinical training. Students can apply these courses toward a Bachelor Degree in Liberal Arts. Didactic courses will be scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays (early evening hours) with clinical training on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays. YOU MAY SIGN UP FOR ALL COURSES OR AN INDIVIDUAL COURSE.
Fall Semester:
Introduction to MRI……1 credit (one weekend course - August)

Program Requirements:
- Graduate from an approved radiography program with at least 2.5 gpa on a 4.0 scale.
- Verification of ARRT registry or proof of eligibility for registration.
- Must be admitted as an undergraduate student through the Center for Adult and Part-Time Students (CAPS) office at Xavier University.
- Verification of CPR needed for the practicum courses.
