Experimental Psychology - Careers

The Master's program in general experimental psychology has a long history of presenting students with the opportunity to further their knowledge in the core areas of psychology and to be mentored in a research program consistent with their interests. Such training has enabled many of our graduates to continue their education in doctoral programs in fields most closely aligned with an experimental emphasis, including social psychology, cognitive psychology, and experimental psychology. However, other students have pursued employment with their master's degree, working for organizations and agencies such as sleep labs, research institutes, businesses, and educational facilities.
