05/12/08

Site preparation continues on the future site of Xavier Square. Part of the process is to recycle as much material as possible. As of April 30, 2008 an estimated 32,652 tons of concrete has been recycled; 1,520 tons of brick and/or block; 216 tons of asphalt; and 2,679 tons of steel.

Demolition work continues along Cleaney Avenue. Several remaining houses will be cleared. Buildings along Montgomery Road between Dana and Cleaney will also be cleared, with the exception of the H&H Grill.
