Xavier Student Heads to Aspen in National Comedy Competition

32 schools from around the U.S. have been battling it out to find the funniest college students in the country. It's down to four stand-up comics, who will compete in Aspen on May 31 for the Funniest College Student title. Reid joins Kathleen O’Brien of the University of Virginia, Tim Ball of Duke and Mary Sasson of UNC Chapel Hill. A live broadcast of the Aspen event can be seen on RooftopComedy.com. Watch and vote for Reid! One Aspen attendee will be named the winner and receive $1,500.
Reid summed it up in his inimitable style. “I am inordinately excited,” he said. “Excited to a degree that is almost unnecessary and somewhat shameful. I can't wait to try out some new material and ideas. And Aspen is supposed to be pretty. Which is a lesser factor, but still a factor. Hooray!”
